Where to play (web, iOS, Android, Steam, Discord), guest vs registered accounts and sign-in methods, how updates work, languages, music, settings, support, account deletion and legal.
Where to play
One account, every platform. Your progress, pets, stickers and friend code are the same wherever you sign in — a guest account is the exception (see below).

Accounts
Signing in

Guest vs registered
Tapping Play as guest creates a real account without an email. It works exactly like a registered one on the board — same rewards, same Marquee — but it only exists on the device that made it.

Your friend code
Every account has an 8-character friend code, displayed as ARC-XXXX-XXXX in SOCIAL. It is how friends add you, the code in your invite link (ballintycoon.com/i/<code>) and the Support ID shown at the bottom of Settings — quote it when you contact support. → Friends, Invite Friends
Founder rewards
Accounts playing during the Founder period can claim four one-time rewards from the Founder rewards tile, unlocked by Arcade level. They stay yours forever.

Updates
- Current version
- 2.13.7 build 112 — shown at the bottom of Settings next to your Support ID.
- Web / Discord
- Always the latest version: a new release simply asks you to reload ("Update available — tap PLAY to reload").
- iOS / Android
- Updates download inside the app on the loading screen ("Downloading update… 47%"), then the game restarts ("Update ready — restarting…"). If the download fails you get a RETRY button and can keep playing the old version until it succeeds. Store updates are rare — most releases arrive this way, no App Store or Play Store visit needed.
- Steam
- The launcher downloads the update and restarts the game.
- Update required
- When a version is too old to talk to the game, the title screen says "Update required — tap UPDATE to download" (or "get the latest from your app store"). Progress cannot be saved until you update.
- Scheduled maintenance
- A banner counts down from 3 minutes before a release; at zero everyone returns to the main menu and the new version rolls out.

Languages
Pick a language in SETTINGS → LANGUAGE. 14 are available; English (US) is the base and English (UK) only changes spellings.

Music & sound
Music and sound effects have their own toggles and five-step volume sliders in SETTINGS. Every world has its own theme, and each minigame takes over the music while it is open, then hands back to the world you are standing in.

Settings

- Log out (two taps). Logging a guest out keeps its progress on this device.
- DELETE ACCOUNT
- Permanently deletes the account (below).
Support
In-game: hamburger → REPORT sends a bug report; SETTINGS → CUSTOMER SERVICE opens the support form. On the web: ballintycoon.com/support — categories Bug / Crash, Purchase / Refund, Account / Login, Report a Player and Other. Include your Support ID (your friend code) so the team can find the account; guests must give an email address for a reply.
Players can also be reported from their profile or friend tile (harassment, cheating, inappropriate behaviour, spam). The community lives on Discord.
Account deletion
SETTINGS → DELETE ACCOUNT. You confirm with your password (guests type DELETE). The account is anonymised immediately: name, friend code and currencies are wiped, sessions and friendships are dropped, pending trades and sticker requests are cancelled. It cannot be undone — there is no restore. The full policy is at /legal/account-deletion.
