Golden Hour
World 3's sun event: a 1 in 2,000-per-launch charge that, once you tap the sun, triples all sap gains for 1m.
Overview
Golden Hour is a World 3 · Flora board event. Every launch on Flora has a 1 in 2,000 chance to bank a charge; when one lands, the moon badge between the two portals turns into a flashing sun and the board shouts GOLDEN HOUR READY! TAP THE SUN. Tap it and, for 1m, every sap gain is tripled — waterings, splashes, cloudbursts, all of it — so the garden ripens three times as fast and pollen (the only way right on World 3) comes three times sooner.
How it triggers
- Each World 3 launch rolls 1 in 2,000 (0.05%). A hit banks a charge — nothing starts until you press the sun, so you can save it for when the garden is watered and ready.
- Only one charge is held at a time; while a charge is waiting the sun keeps flashing.
- Flower Fairy's 3★ Sun Dance and her card shorten the odds (up to 90% combined, most of it from the card).
- Tap the sun while it is not charged to read the live odds and duration in a tooltip.
What it does
Flowers on World 3 are the pegs: each ball touch waters the flower it hits for +5 sap, and at 300 sap the flower is ripe — the next ball to touch it picks +1 pollen and the plot resets. During Golden Hour every watering is worth ×3 (15 sap), so a flower ripens in 20 touches instead of 60.
| Stage | Sap | Waterings |
|---|---|---|
| 0 – 99 | 0 – 19 | |
| 100 – 199 | 20 – 39 | |
| 200 – 299 | 40 – 59 | |
| 300 | 60 (20 in Golden Hour) |
Golden Hour does not change coins, gems or portal odds — it is purely a garden accelerator. The sun pauses whenever a minigame takes over the screen (Bonus Wheel, Jackpot Frenzy, the ARCADE…), so you never lose window time to a spin.
Making it last
- Solstice Fawn's Longest Day stretches the window by up to ×1.5.
- The Solstice card adds flat seconds.
- Hard cap: 5m 20s before Longest Day — the ×1.5 multiplies after the cap, so a boosted window tops out at 8m.
- Dew Snail at 3★ lowers the ripe threshold, which stacks with the ×3 — fewer touches per pick either way.
Tips
- Water first, then tap. A charge is safest spent on a board full of blooms — every touch during the window is a third of a pick.
- Run AUTO with as many balls on the board as it allows (100) — the window is timed, so throughput is everything.
- Laden balls (3+ pollen) chip the World 4 lock ×2 — a good Golden Hour is also a good lock-breaking hour.
